This is the second in the series called The Refugees. This 20 x 16 oil painting reflects my concern about the overall welfare of those people who are forced to leave their homes because the soil conditions yield no crops or extremely violent dangerous. This Guatamalan mother and her two children have few possessions but great hope for a better life.
